2. Personal data we process

We process only data that you provide to us or that arises through operation of the website:

• Contact form: name, email address, telephone number (if provided) and message content.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and access time—automatically recorded by the web server.

We do not process any special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

• Responding to an enquiry and concluding a contract —processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Performance of a contract —processing necessary to perform a website development or SEO optimisation contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Legitimate interest —security and operation of the web server and protection against misuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Consent — sending commercial communications where you have consented (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Data retention period

• We retain contact-form data for the time necessary to handle your enquiry, but no longer than 3 years from the last contact unless a contractual relationship arose.
• If a contract is concluded, we retain data for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for 10 years in accordance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• If you consented to commercial communications, we retain the data until consent is withdrawn.

5. Recipients of personal data

We do not sell your personal data or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing. Data may be disclosed only to:

• The web-hosting provider —for operation of the web server hosting this website, under a data processing agreement.
• Public authorities —where required by law or necessary to protect rights.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries outside the EEA.

6. Rights of the data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access —the right to obtain confirmation whether we process your personal data and, if so, access to it (Article 15 GDPR).
• Right to rectification — the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected and incomplete personal data completed (Article 16 GDPR).
• Right to erasure —the right to request erasure of your personal data where Article 17 GDPR conditions are met.
• Right to restriction of processing —the right to restrict processing under Article 18 GDPR.
• Right to data portability —the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (Article 20 GDPR).
• Right to object —the right to object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR).
• Right to lodge a complaint —the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz).

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use any cookies — functional, analytics or advertising. Cookie consent is therefore not required.

We measure traffic using Umami Analytics (operated on our own server), which is entirely anonymous, creates no cookies and collects no personal data. It sends no information to third parties and fully complies with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive.

The Inter font is hosted directly on this server — no connections are made to Google Fonts or other third-party servers.

8. How to exercise your rights

You may exercise all rights under the preceding section by emailing hello@webnik.cz. We will respond without undue delay and no later than 30 days after receiving it. For complex or numerous requests, we may extend this period by a further two months and will inform you accordingly.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The current version is always available on this page with the last-updated date. If material changes are made, we will notify you by email if you have provided one.
